Yesterday, a couple of residents and I were talking about lifting and what we do when we lift. Of course leg day came up in conversation and we talked about what we did for that. One of the residents said that leg day was pretty hard for them because he had Scoliosis, which is the misalignment of the spine. He said it was 11 degrees off in one direction and it tries to correct itself 8 degrees in the other direction. Then I told them about my Spina Bifida and how I would get bad lower back pains. Who knew our lifting conversation would go that deep?
